The Class A Licensed Barber Program at Goodrich Barber Academy is a TDLR-compliant training program designed to prepare students for eligibility to sit for the Texas barber licensing examination. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on practical training to develop technical skill, professional discipline, and industry readiness. Students receive instruction in sanitation and safety, haircutting and fading techniques, razor shaving, beard and mustache design, Texas barber laws and rules, professional ethics, and basic business principles. Training is conducted under the supervision of licensed instructors in accordance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements. The program consists of 1,000 clock hours of instruction and practical training.
